Gold Works are currently developing new technology courses and taster sessions to introduce the technology available through the Digital Manufacturing Centre.

They also run professional development and product development courses, developed and piloted through the BTTP programme.

‘Create’: a short professional development programme aimed at mid career silversmiths and jewellers

The aim of the course is to give silversmithing and jewellery practitioners the opportunity to develop and pursue design ideas, use new technology and alternative materials to enable them to create new work and grow their business. There will be a flexible work plan with a combination of expert advice and mentoring, peer learning and individual teaching to help the practitioner maintain their current practice whilst exploring new ideas.
